B-H – Morocco: Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement Initialled



Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of B-H Fuad Kasumović and Director for Legal Issues and Scientific Research and Cooperation of the Head Taxation Office under the Ministry for Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco Brahim Kettani initialled an Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Morocco on Avoidance on Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion in Respect to Income Taxes, in Rabat, Morocco, on December 2, 2010.

Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Fuad Kasumović visited the Moroccan Ministry of Economy and Finance, where he had talks with Minister of Finance of Economy Salaheddin Mezouar. Kasumović also met with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry for Energy, Ores, Water and Environment of Morocco.

At the meetings in Rabat, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury and high Moroccan officials indicated at a need for fostering overall bilateral relations of the two friendly countries, with a special focus on promotion of economic and trade cooperation, in addition to cooperation in the areas of culture, sports, education and tourism.
