Chairman Zvizdić with KSA Minister for Religious Issues Alu Sheih

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Denis Zvizdić talked today in Sarajevo with Minister for Religious Issues of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Salih Alu Shweih, to whom he thanked for support his country has extended over the past period to all peoples in BIH. 

He informed the Minister of the current economic and political situation in BIH, saying that the three key priorities and aims of BIH are the continued work towards the membership in the European Union and NATO, economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina and securing of peace and stability in the region. He noted that there is still a space for a promotion of relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the economic, political, education and cultural areas.

Minister Alu Shejh, thanking for a hospitable welcome, said that BIH is a country conducive for investments. He emphasised that a better economic cooperation should be made in future in the investments attraction filed. He expressed his pleasure with a fact that the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed over the past eighteen months a series of agreements and arrangements providing incentive for investments.

Chirman Zvizdić and Minister Alu Sheih agreed that an exchange of businessmen needs to take place in the coming period of time, so that new and higher quality investments would be able to realise.

Minister Salih Alu Sheih said the Ministry for Religious Issues gives its contribution to the fight against terrorism and all forms of extremism, underlining that the key activity should enfold around the improvement of human values, which should contribute to a successful combating against the horror of terrorism throughout the world.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in BIH Hani Abdullah Momina.
