Zvizdić – Erdogan: Cooperation between States Best Anti-Terrorist Fight

Chairman Zvizdić informed President Erdogan on the current developments in BIH. He stressed a strong commitment of the Council of Ministers of BIH to reform processes targeting by way of the Reform Agenda implementation, achievement of three strategic aims by 2018, namely to step-up Euro-Atlantic integrations of BIH, improve business environment, and strengthen the rule of law and general safety. He added that the Council of Ministers of BIH has already completed a part of its Reform Agenda commitments, achieving positive results in the energy and transport, metal industry, special-purpose industry, agriculture and tourism sectors.
They exchanged views on the topical migrant crisis in the world and its security aspects. They condemned ever frequent terrorist attacks and pointed out that both bilateral and multilateral cooperation among states is the best way to fight against terrorism. Chairman Zvizdić offered to President Erdogan cooperation and assistance of Bosnia and Herzegovina in fight against terrorism.
President Erdogan said the Republic of Turkey stands behind Bosnia and Herzegovina for better for worse, and that it will continue supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina in all fields. He stressed that Turkey always seek to enhance the existing good relations and cooperation and to additionally connect peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey.
President Erdogan said that trade cooperation should be strengthened in the future period of time in order to create conditions for a continuous meat import from BIH, so that the final import quota would be increased to 15,000 tonnes. He said that it is necessary to address standards in food quality control, adding that businessmen from Turkey already active in BIH should be secured conditions of operations equal to those enjoyed by domestic ones, which would be an additional stimulus for further investments.
Chairman Zvizidć thanked to President Erdogan for a strong and continuous support of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina in all areas and, he invited Turkish businessmen to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a country moving forward and is yet to start using tis economic potentials.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BIH Mirko Šarović, Minister of Civil Affairs of BIH Adil Osmanivić, Minister of Tourism and Environment of FBIH Edita Đapo, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Turkey Damir Dćžanko and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BIH Cihad Erginay.
