Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Welcomes the Decision of the European Parliament

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola Špirić welcomed the Decision of the European Parliament on visa regime liberalisation for B-H citizens. 

“The Decision of the European Parliament represents recognition of the efforts taken by the B-H authorities to meet all visa liberalisation criteria for B-H. By fulfilling the Road Map requirements for the visa regime liberalisation, we proved that it was possible to make a positive atmosphere and demonstrate a full responsibility in this process, the successful outcome of which is of an enormous importance for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The placement at the ‘white Shengen’ will be the first concrete advantage for citizens of B-H in the European Integrations process, and it will represent a further boost to European idea within the country. Otherwise, such idea would weaken in B-H, which is a development that would contribute neither to Bosnia and Herzegovina nor European Union” Špirić said. (end)
