B-H Fiscal Council Holds Its 24th Session

Finance Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and Federation of B-H agreed to continue their talks until reaching a final consolidated proposal of indirect tax revenues allocation, with a view at achieving an agreement on the Global Framework.
The Fiscal Council members analysed a comparative review of gross salaries and material expenses in institutions of B-H, FB-H, RS and Brčko District. It was agreed that additional savings of material expenses should be made, while travel expenses should be harmonised throughout B-H and set it at the maximum level of KM 25.
It was agreed that additional analyses of expenditures structure since 2009 should be made for the purpose of inquiring into a possibility of additional savings.
Today’s session was attended by Head of the WB Mission in B-H Anabela Abreu and IMF Resident Representative in B-H Milan Cuc, who informed the Fiscal Council of the policies of these international institutions planned to support Bosnia and Herzegovina. On that occasion, an importance was highlighted of adoption of 2012 Budgets and continuation of structural reforms implementation under conditions of the anticipated economic crisis.
