BIH Fiscal Council: Agreed Supplemental Letter of Intent to IMF



At its session, chaired over by Chairman of the BIH Council of Ministers and Fiscal Council Vjekoslav Bevanda, the BIH Fiscal Council unanimously adopted a text Supplemental Letter of Intent to the IMF in the context of the Stand-By Arrangement for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which the IMF Executive Board approved last September.

The Supplemental Letter states that BIH authorities will stay committed to the implementation of policies presented in the previous letters of intent, of September 11, 2012, and to policies defined in Supplemental Letters of Intent of December 6, 2012 and April 23, 2013, respectively.

“This Supplemental Letter of Intent provides data on our efforts and outputs following the Second Review of the implementation of the Arrangement, conducted in May 2013, as well as information on additional measures planned to be implemented in the course of 2013 and in early 2014”, reads the Supplemental Letter of Intent, agreed at today’s BIH Fiscal Council session.

This way, the BIH Fiscal Council authorised the IMF to post the Letter at the IMF web page after the IMF Executive Board approves it.
