Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda congratulates International Labour Day

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda congratulated to citizens of BIH the International Labour Day and said that he will invest additional efforts to preserve the existing jobs and to have the period to come marked by the fulfilment of conditions for BIH’s entry into the EU, which presumes clear labour market rules in place and adjustment to European legislation. 

“Bosnia and Herzegovina should guarantee to workers the adequate valuing if their work. We will have to adjust our economy and our legislation with those of the EU. That should involve much more discussion between workers and employers to include all stakeholders in development of legislation. We have to create clear labour market rules, which is one among preconditions for the UE membership. Together we will work on this task and struggle for better and higher quality life of workers. I wish you Happy May 1 – International Labour Day”, said Chairman of the Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda in his message.
