Chairman Zvizdić Congratulates Sarajevo City Day

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić send congratulations note to Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka and to citizens of Sarajevo on the occasion of April 6 – the Day of the City of Sarajevo. 

“Dear Mayor of Sarajevo, dear Sarajevo citizens,

I wish to congratulate you one of the most important days in the history of this beautiful city, when Sarajevo was heroically liberated from fascists and when spirit of freedom and traditiona of co-existence and multiculturalism was preserved.

The history of our city rests on a glorious, and somewhat heavy past, and it is on us to keep the memory of our heroes, respect and cherish the very ideas and values they fought for and transfer their heritage to generations to come because, as a poem says ’Sarajevo will be, everything else will pass’.

Dear Mayor, to you and to citizens of Sarajevo I proudly congratulate April 6^th – the Day of the City of Sarajevo”, reads the congratulations note by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH.
