Chairman Zvizdić Congratulates Statehood Day

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić congratulated March 1 – the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

“26 years ago we demonstrated our commitment to liberty and equality, the ideal that have not eft hearts of Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens though turbulent history of our homeland. On March 1, 1992, we decided to build an independent state of free and equal people and in the most difficult moments in history of our homeland, we showed courage and decisiveness to preserve on that path.

Today, when handling over our answers to the EC Questionnaire, we have accomplished one of the most complex processes on the European road of our country. We’ve made a breakthrough to get the candidate status soon, and proved to our European friends our credibility, will and knowledge to become a part of democratic Europe.

I call upon you today to show jointly our will, decisiveness and patriotism, not to look at what others do, but rather have our effort-taking as an exemplary way to others, of faster overcoming the remaining obstacles on the European road and more easily reaching security and better life to our children in our joint homeland – Bosnia and Herzegovina”, reads the congratulations note by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić.
