Contract Worth EUR150 Million Signed with EBRD



Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić signed in Banja Luka a Loan Guarantee Contract with EBRD director Sue Barrett for a Loan to fund the construction of Eastern section of the Banja Luka –Doboj Motorway.  The Public Company “Motorways of RS” is the end user of this 150 million EUR worth Loan. ”

A Loan Support Contract between the Republika Srpska and EBDR on was signed along with the Guarantee Contract,

Minister Špirić said that the Presidency, Parliamentarian Assembly and Council of Ministers of BIH all have done their best to ratify as soon as possible all pending contracts  so that the EBRD Loan intended for the construction of the Motorway section from Prnjavor to Doboj could become operational.
