Council of Ministers of BIH Extraordinary Session Declares Friday Mourning Day

The Council of Ministers of BIH declared Friday, November 20, 2015 Day of Mourning in Bosnia and Herzegovina because of a murder of two soldiers of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Sarajevo community of Rajlovac. 

All flags on BIH Institutions will be posted half-mast, and all sports and entertainment events planned for that day will be adjusted to the Mourning Day.

The Council of Ministers of BIH condemned the attack in which two members of the Armed Forces of BIH were killed, and offered its condolences to families of the killed soldiers and to the Ministry of Defence of BIH.

The Council of Ministers of BIH required form the Ministry of Security to take all measures and activities in cooperation with all security and police agencies at all levels for prevention and prot4ection form terrorism.

The Council of Ministers stressed that the terrorism is a global threat requiring joint action though the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and called upon security and police agencies in BIH to work in coordinated way, in accordance with their respective competences.
