The Council of Ministers o BIH took a Decision on Temporary Financing of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period April – June, 2012.
The Council of Ministers of BIH is obliged to include into the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for year 2012 needed funds for payment of pensions to dismissed members of the BIH Armed Forces, according to the Law on Supplements to the Law on Service in BIH Armed forces, for the period before this Law taking effect, conclusive with March 31, 2012, and the related funds will be earmarked to Entity Pension Funds for disbursement to beneficiaries.
The Council of Ministers of BIH will propose to the Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH to annul the Law on Supplements to the Law on Service in the BIH Armed Forces in a way to cease its legal effect.
The rights of dismissed members of the Armed Forces of BIH will be regulated for the coming period through amendments and supplements of the Base Law, and the Ministry of Defence is tasked to prepare a Draft of this piece of legislation in cooperation with Entity Governments and Entity Pension Funds.
In the process of drafting of the Supplements to the Law a due care will be taken on the harmonisation of rights of dismissed members of the Armed forces of BIH with the rights of similar categories at the Entity level.
An agreed to Draft Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2012, proposal of putting out of effect the Law on Supplements to the Law on Service in Armed forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a Proposal Amendments and Supplements to the Base Law on Service in the Armed Forces of BIH, will be considered at the Council of Ministers at the same time, while the Parliamentarian Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is suggested to consider and adopt these three pieces of legislation simultaneously.
The council of Ministers of BIH supported unanimously public spending cut offs at the state level and realisation of Budget savings on all of its items.
