Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Extraordinary Session

The Council of Ministers of BIH took a Decision to allocate funds from the current grant “Co-Financing of BIH Cultural Institutions Projects in BIH”.
Total grant funds of KM 1,350,000.00 will be distributed to 85 beneficiary cultural institutions for specific projects, aimed at maintenance of their capacities and traditional cultural contents.
So, the National Museum of BIH will be supported by KM 180,000.00, National and University Library with KM 85000.000 and Historical Museum Sarajevo with KM 75,000.00, Art Gallery of BIH with KM 70,000.00, Library for Blind and Visually Disabled Persons with KM 55,000.00, Museum of Republika Srpska with KM 55,000.00, Museum of Contemporary Art of RS and Public Institution National Library of RS will receive KM 45,000.00 each, and Public Institution National Theatre of RS will receive KM 40,000.00, BIH Cinematography Archives will receive KM 30,000.00. Also, the Federation of Deaf and Hearing Disabled People of BIH in Mostar and Federation of Blind Persons of Herzeg-Bosnia will receive KM 30,000.00 each, Croatian National Theatre will receive KM 25,000.00, and Franciscan Museum and Gallery Gorica in Livno will receive KM 27,000.00, and Croat Cultural Hub – Matica - in Mostar will receive KM 26,000.00 for organisation of the Mostar Spring Festival.
The Council of Ministers took a Decision on allocation of funds from the current grant “Co-Financing of Sports Events” for 2014, distributing KM 560,000.00 to 66 State and Entity sports federations and clubs in amounts ranging from KM 2,000 to KM 23,000.00.
The Council of Ministers of BIH took a Decision on allocation of funds for co-financing of projects in the area of “International cultural cooperation” for year 2014. It is a grant worth KM 270,000.00 to be distributed in amounts ranging from KM 2,000 to KM 23,000.00 to 60 beneficiaries among theatres, libraries, foundations, institutes and associations.
All grant beneficiaries are obliged to report their respective grant funds expenditures to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
FUTHER IMPROVEMENT OF CONDITIONS FOR DOMESTIC PRODUCERS
The Council of Ministers of BIH, upon a proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations took a decision on temporary suspension and temporary decrease of customs tariffs for import of certain goods until December 31, 2015, thus accommodating requests by textile, leather and footwear and electronic industry producers in BIH for import of raw materials necessary for manufacturing of final products.
The new decision, which covers 34 tariff marks, extends to the next year the validity of applicable decision of the Council of Ministers on improvement of conditions targeting improvement of domestic production and keeping the existing and prospective creation of new jobs. The decision favours at least 30,000 workers in the area of footwear, electronic, metal, motor-industry and food processing and chemical industries.
