ABOUT KM 460k APPROVED FOR ADDITIONAL SUPERVISIOSN OF STATE BORDER 

The Council of Ministers of BIH at today’s extraordinary (phone) session took several decisions on approving about KM 460k from the current budget reserves to the BIH Border police, Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, and State Investigations and Protection Agency (SIPA) for the purpose of covering travel, accommodation and alimentary costs of policemen additionally included into the stepped-up surveillance of the state border for the reason of suppression of illegal migrations.

The Ministry of Security and Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BIH will implement these three decisions.

 

BIH AND USA STRENGTHEN THEIRANTI.CORRUPTION COOPERATION

 

The Council of Ministers of BIH defined a Proposal Agreement on Grant Funds for development purposes between the United States of America, acting via USAID, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, acting via BIH Public Procurement Agency for the anti-corruption development aim.

It is USD eight million worth grant directed for improvement of capacities the BIH Public Procurement Agency for the purpose of taking transparent public procurement procedures. The funds will be directed to strengthening of key anti-corruption processes in institutions and for increased monitoring and implementation of anti-corruption activities in BIH.

The Proposal Agreement will be provided to the BIH Presidency, and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH was proposed for the BIH signatory.
