Fiscal Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Session – 2012 Global Fiscal Framework Adopted

The Fiscal Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina at its session in Sarajevo agreed on the Global Framework of Fiscal Balance and Policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2012-2014, in amount of KM million 950. Allocations from the Single Treasury Account will be at the annual level of KM 750 for the related period. 

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BIH will prepare a Budgetary Structure and Draft Budget of BIH Institutions for 2012 and submit it to the Council of Ministers of BIH.

At the session, chaired over by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Fiscal Council of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda, it was decided to start new negotiations concerning the continuation of cooperation with the IMF for conclusion of a new Stand-By Armament.

The Fiscal Council agreed that the State and Entity Finance Ministers should find solution, together with the Governor of the Central Bank of BIH, in respect to priority foreign debt repayment.

The next session of the Fiscal Council will be dedicated to the salaries and employment policy and other ways of savings at all levels of authority.

The Fiscal Council session was attended by: Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekosalv Bevanda, Entity Prime Ministers Nermin Nikšić and Aleksandar Džombić, Finance Ministers of BiH Nikola Špiirć , of the Federation of BIH Ante Krajina and of Republika Srpska Zoran Tegeltija, as well as Governor of the Central Bank of BIH Kemal Kozarić and Mayor of the Brčko District of BIH Mirosalv Gavrić, who attends the sessions without right to vote.
