Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BIH Damir Ljubić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in BIH Rami Rexhepi, with whom he talked on modalities of improvement of cooperation between the two countries.
The interlocutors assessed that the bilateral relations between BIH and Macedonia are good, and that these two countries are friendly countries without outstanding issues between them, but that there is a lot of space for improvement of their cooperation in all areas.
Ambassador Rexhepi said that Macedonia and BIH share the same aspirations towards the EU and NATO membership and that it is an area where a joint cooperation is possible to be developed. He expressed readiness of Macedonia to cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina in development of joint project in the area of human rights, capacity building of local communities and cooperation with the Diaspora.
Minister Ljubić expressed readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina to use on its European integrations path experiences of Macedonia, which enjoys the EU candidate status.
Ambassador Rexhepi invited Minister Ljubić to visit Macedonia soon so that prospective cooperation might become reality as soon as possible.
