Minister Hadžić and Russian Ambassador Discuss Zabubeznjeft Company Plans



Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Damir Hadžić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the Russian Federation in BIH Aleksandar Boca-Haračenko, who expressed his hope that the bilateral cooperation between BIH and the Russian Federation will be continued and improved.

Ambassador Boca-Hračenko informed Minister Hadžić of readiness of the Russian Company Zarubeznejft to finance the Sava Riverbed Cleaning Project, aimed at facilitation of distribution of the Brod Oil Refinery products.

As Sava River represents the state border, the assistance of the State Minister was sought for the identification of measures necessary for the project implementation.

Minister Hadžić welcomed the intention of the Russian Company to increase navigability of Sava River by additional investments.

It was agreed that the Ministry of Communications and Transport should provide complete project information to the Embassy of the Russian Federation within next seven days, with a proposal on possible involvement of the Zarubeznjeft Company, after which the follow-up steps would be defined for the implementation of the project underway.
