Minister Hadžić Talks with BIH Flight Controllers Association



Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Damir Hadžić received in Sarajevo today representatives of the BIH Air Traffic Controllers Association.

At the meeting, they exchanged view on taking over a full control of flights over BIH skies, the issue of establishment of an Air Navigation Service Agency and on training of BIH air traffic controllers.

Minister Hadžić said that the adoption of the Rule Book on posts and salaries is in the process, which is one of requirements for the Agency to become operative.

He expressed his expectations that BIH will take over a full control of air traffic over BIH skies by the end of 2013.

Testing of main voice communications of the BIH Air Traffic Management System took place on May 7, and it was the first step in the process of taking over the flight control over Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister Hadžić said.
