Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina Damir Ljubić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BIH Ahmet Yildiz, who cogratulated him for apoppointmentn, wishing him success in his further work.
Thanking for congratulations, Minister Ljubić informed Ambassador Yildiz on priorities of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BIH for the coming period of time. He said that the Council of Ministers has already demonstrated its determination for fulfilment of requirements for membership in the NATO and EU.
Minister Ljubić informed Ambassador Yildiz on preparations for the up-coming donor conference planned for next month.
“A great success has been already made, and that is a political agreement to solve the issue of refugees and displaced persons through a joint effort of four countries of the region, and the international community will hopefully recognise a new quality of the solutions offered”, said Minister Ljubić.
Ambassador Yildizsaid that the cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia is a positive breakthrough in tackling the issue of return in the region, and underlined readiness of the Republic of Turkey to offer support to these efforts.
Minister Ljubić thanked to Ambassador Yildiz for the assistance the Republic of Turkey extended to Bosnia and Herzegovina to-date, especially for support for programmes of return of refugees and displaced persons.
