Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić received today Ambassador of Romania in BIH Filip Todoerscue.
They stressed that BIH and Romania have extremely good bilateral relations, and that there are no outstanding issues to burden their mutual relations, which is an additional motif for a considerable improvement of economic cooperation.
Ambassador Teodorescu mentioned last year’s 30 per cent increase of exchange of goods between Romania and BIH, saying that it is necessary to strengthen the economic ties.
Minister Špirić underlined that the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BIH is ready to work on concluding inter-governmental agreements that should serve as a foundation for cooperation of the two states in many fields.
They both agreed that BIH’s joining the EU has no alternative, and that a complete reform implementation is necessary in order to lead BIH towards the EU. In regard to that, Minister Špirić said that he expects the BIH Budget to be adopted at the House of Peoples of the Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH, as it would secure funds for the institutions and projects that are key for the EU integrations process of BIH.
