Minister Špirić receives Ambassador of Slovenia in BIH

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dr Nikola Špirić met in Sarajevo today with Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in BIH Andrei Graseli.
At the meeting they pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia enjoy good bilateral relations, and that the economic ties have been strengthened through implemented Slovenian investments in BIH.
Minister Špirić stressed that the adoption by the Council of Ministers of BIH of the Draft Budget of BIH Institutions for 2012 is the initial reform step required in the process of EU integrations of BIH, and expressed his expectations that the adoption of this year’s Budget will be finalised at the BIH Presidency and Parliamentarian Assembly quite soon.
Ambassador Graseli said that Slovenia will continue providing its unreserved support to BIH on tis way to the EU.
They underlined a need for an expedited solution finding to the issue of old hard currency deposit savings of BIH citizens, who kept their deposits with the Ljubljanska Banka before the war, as it was called for in the Agreement of Succession Issues of Former SFRY.
