Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo today Deputy Head of EU Delegation in BIH Renzo Daviddi.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of soon adoption of the 2012 Budget of BIH Institutions and 2012-2014 Global Fiscal Framework. Minister Špirić briefed Daviddi of attempts to reach a consensus at the BIH Fiscal Council session, scheduled for Wednesday, March 14, 2012. They discussed different modalities of EU cooperation and support in Bosnia and Herzegovina in view of reaching as high quality solution as possible.
It was underlined that the EU support depends also of a successful cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with international financial institutions, particularly the International Monetary Fund.
In the context of assessments of too high level of spending in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Daviddi offered assistance of the EU Delegation in analysing of expenditures of public offices financed from the BIH Budget.
