Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Finance and Treasury Nikola Špirić received, in Sarajevo toady, High Representative Inzko with his Deputy Roderick Moor and Ambassador of Great Britain in BIH Nigel Casey. The OHR representatives and British Ambassador, in their separate meetings congratulated Minister Špirić for appointment, who expressed his hope that a positive trend following the establishment of the new Council of Ministers and adoption of both the Law on Census and Law on State Aid will be continued. Minister Špirić stressed a need for a soon adoption of the 2012 Budget and agreement on the BIH Global Fiscal Balance and Policies Framework for 2012-2014.
At the meeting with the British Ambassador, Špirić said that finding solution to these issues is crucial from the viewpoint of BIH’s aspiration to apply for the candidate status, as well as for the reason of its international fiscal credibility. The Deputy Chairman said that it is vital to secure a steady movement of BIH along the European integrations process.
