Minister Vrankić Visits Japanese Embassy in B-H and Signs into Book of Mourning

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury Dragan Vrankić visited in today Ambassador of Japan in B-H Futao Motaia and signed into a book of mourning, opened in the Embassy of Japan in B-H.
“People in Bosnia and Herzegovina are deeply moved by tragic consequences of devastating catastrophe which has swept onto friendly Japan. I hereby express my sincere sympathies to families of victims and I share the feelings and moral solidarity with all the people affected by these tragic events. Also, I express my admiration and deep, sincere appreciation towards the friendly Japanese people, which, in these hard times face a large number of victims and huge material damage, tries to overcome the tragedy with dignity and courage and a great decisiveness., With all gratefulness for their unreserved aiding Bosnia and Herzegovina, I wish to the people of Japan to prevail this tragedy as soon as possible and reconstruct its country”, Minister Vrankić writes.
Minister Vrankić exchanged views and information with Ambassador of Japan in B-H Motai on the current situation in Japan, especially on aftermath of the devastating earthquake and tsunami, followed by explosions in nuclear power plants. He underlined readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina to offer assistance and expressed his expectations that mayor international financial institutions will support Japan in mitigating the material damage.
Ambassador Motai thanked for the sympathies expressed by the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that “the feeling of solidarity is very important and awareness of that gives additional strength to the Japanese people.”
