Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 107th Session

COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF BIH CONGRATULATES FOOTBALL TEAM OF BIH

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a congratulations note from today’s session to footballers and expert team of the Football Selection of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after achieving a placement to the World Championship in Football in Canada, Mexico and United States of America, to be held on June 10 - June 19, 2026.

SUPPORT TO IMPLEMETNATION OF MEDITERRANEAN CORRIDOR PROJECT

The Council of Ministers of BIH supports strongly implementation of the Mediterranean Corridor Project: railway section Šamac – Doboj – Rječica on Corridor V c, assessed as very important for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Directorate for European Integrations will report the conclusion the European Commission DG for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood.

The conclusion was made during consideration of a piece of information by the Directorate for European Integrations on priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EU accession process.

EFFECTIVE RESPONSE TO FIRE IN BIH

The Council of Ministers adopted a piece of information by the Ministry of Security on 2025 fire season and use of NICS technology.

The report follows conclusions focused on improvement of cross-institutional cooperation and coordination among all-level bodies responsible for protection and rescue in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international partners, as well as at systemic application of contemporary digital tools for management of crisis situations. The realisation of the conclusions drafted based on past experiences and timeliness of their adoption is in function of securing more effective response go fire in Bih in 2026.

IMPLEMENTATION OF DEPUTY’S INITIATIVE

The Council of Ministers of BIH took note of a deputy’s initiative by Milan Petković, Deputy with in the Parliamentary Assembly of BIH House of Representatives as to construction of a bridge across the Sava River between the Municipality of Srbac  in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Municipality of Davor, the Republic of Croatia and arrangement of a border crossing point, to facilitate movement of passengers and goods.
