The Delegation of Ministry of Defense of BiH visits the Ministry of Defense of Republic of Austria

The delegation of the Ministry of Defense of BiH, led by the Defense Minister Mr. Selmo Cikotić, Ph.D., is in Vienna on September 9-10, 2009, in the visit to the Ministry of Defense of Republic of Austria, at the invitation of the Defense and Sports Minister of Austria, Mr. Norbert Darabos. 

Inter alia, during the visit they will be speaking about security-political development in the region of South-Eastern Europe, European security policy, and about bilateral-defense cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Austria.

 

In 2006, the „Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in military area“, which encompass different cooperation area, such as security and defense policy, international operations and military training and education, was signed between the Ministry of Defense of BiH and Republic of Austria.
