Chairwoman of CoM BIH Krišto with Special UK Envoy for Western Balkans Pierce

A meeting of Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto and special UK Envoy for the Western Balkans Karen Pierce was held. Friendly relations between Bosnia n Herzegovina and the United Kingdom and Norther Ireland wee emphasised, including an intensive political dialogue and cooperation in numerous areas.

Our dedication to cooperation in all areas is of mutual interest, especially deepening of a strong partnership in specific global and geopolitical circumstances.

Linking and cooperation of business entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina with those of the United Kingdom is of extreme importance, as such cooperation enables a technological renewal and gaining sophisticated skills for economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whether in management or production.

The United Kingdom remains at the sixth place of BIH main investors.

The meeting discussed the European road as the key foreign policy aim of BIH.

Holding an inter-government conference would be an important step forward to mark the start of negotiations on a full membership. (end)
