Meeting of Chairwoman of CoM BIH Krišto with Charge d'Affaires of the United States of America Embassy Ginkel: Strategic Partnership of Our Two Countries Reaffirms Common Understanding

Sarajevo was the venue of a meeting of Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto and Charge d’Affaires of the US Embassy in BIH Johan Ginkel.

The meeting discussed the current developments on the global level and situation in the region, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They touched upon strategic projects and the related implementation activities, primarily the topical energy projects and a series of others referring to strengthening and construction of infrastructure, improvement of traffic network and others.

Chairwoman Krišto expressed her pleasuer for our partnership is being continuously upgraded in many areas, primarily in energy sector, which, given the current geopolitical circumstances, has become an inseparable part of contemplations for future.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a credible partner attracting investments and through a proactive institutional and political engagement it is able to implement a long-term strategic projects.

They finally discussed the necessity of internal reforms, especially as to outstanding issues to secure political and institutional equality of three constitutive people and other citizens, thus guaranteeing political stability and European standards of our country on the road to a full membership in the EU.(end)
