Ambassador Gilles in Farewell Visit to Chairman Bevanda

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received, in a farewell visit, Ambassador of the Republic of France in BIH Roland Gilles. 

Chairman Bevanda noted good cooperation and a valuable contribution by Ambassador Gilles to further improvement of relations between the two states. He thanked for the organisation of the donor conference in Brussels, following catastrophic floods in May this year.

Ambassador Gilles thanked to Chairman Bevanda for cooperation, adding that he values highly his efforts, courage and commitment to solve the internal challenges. He said that BIH has many friends, among which France is one, He underlined that they have always been present in solving the pressing problems and that his future activities will focus on intensified economic presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Bevanda briefed Ambassador Gilles about the up-coming Berlin meeting to be held next week.

Ambassador Gilles said the meeting came as the result of care and concern and joint efforts taken by European capitals towards Bosnia and Herzegovina. He informed chairman Bevanda that the meeting in berlin will be attendedyyb Alain Richard, special representative of France for economic affairs.

Chairman Bevanda expressed his belief in improved all-segment cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of France, thanking Amabssador Gilles for his successfully completed mandate and wishing him personal happiness and professional success.
