Bevanda – Chunfeng: To Improve Economic-Trade Cooperation as Priority

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received in an introductory visit Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in BIH Dong Chunfeng. 

They expressed their satisfaction with the bilateral relations, assessing them as friendly and with a tendency of further development in a positive direction.

Ambassador Chunfen said that for the People’s Republic of China Bosnia and Herzegovina represents an important international partner, and he expressed interest of the People’s Republic of China for deepening of cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina on the principles of mutual consideration and respect. He underlined that the People’s Republic of China especially appreciates a support of “single China“ policy and continuous diplomatic support of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international level. Conveying personal regards of new Prime Minister of the People’s Republic do China Li Keqiang to Chairman Bevanda, Ambassador Chingfeng said that the priority of his mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to strengthen the economic-trade cooperation.

Chairman Bevnada emphasised that the improvement of economic-trade cooperation is a shared priority, and expressed his pleasure for the cultural cooperation between the two countries also takes an up-ward trend. He especially noted an initiative of the People’s Republic of china to open university departments for Chinese language and culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and said that he personally believes that Universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will recognise the importance of the project.

Chairman Bevanda wished to Ambassador Chungfeng a lot of luck and success in his mission in Bosnia ad Herzegovina.
