Bevanda: Successful Cooperation of BIH Institutions and EUOFOR Exemplifies Readiness F Bosnia and Herzegovina for Euro-Atlantic Integrations

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received in Sarajevo today in a farewell visit Commander of EUFOR General-Lieutenant Robert Brieger. 

Chairman Bevada stressed successful cooperation between the BIH Institutions and EUFOR as a good example of readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina for coping with Euro-Atlantic-related challenges. He informed General-Lieutenant Brieger on efforts the Council of Ministers of BIH takes to step-up the Euro-Atlantic integrations of Bosnia and Herzgovina.

General-Lieutenant Brieger underlined a high level of cooperation with the BIH Institutions during his mandate, especially commending cooperation with the Ministra of Defence of BIH and Joint Command of the Armed Forces of BIH. He thanked to Chairman Bevanda for successful cooperation and personal support to EUFOR Mandate.

Expressing his support to extension of the EUFOR mandate, General-Lieutenant Brieger said Bosnia and Herzegovina is very close to a point when EUFOR Mission will not be needed any longer.

“Your armed forces are capacitated sufficiently, motivated and professionally trained to give a special contribution to stability and peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including a contribution to global peace through participation in peace keeping missions”, General-Lieutenant Brieger stated.

Chairman Bevanda wished General-Lieutenant Brieger a lot of success in his future professional carrier.
