Bevanda: To Use Chance and Move Forward

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received in Sarajevo High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federika Mogherini. 

Chairman Bevanda expressed his pleasure for a statement on reforms under the EU accession process was adopted at both Houses of Parliamentarian Assembly of BIH and for High Representative Mogherini attended the act of adoption. He said that BIH must use a chance it has got from the European Union so as to move forward, expressing his hope that the time ahead will be filled with enthusiasm of all political actors.

“A hard effort awaits us. We know the tasks we received in Brussels and we know other obligations that remained unfulfilled. I am confident that soon we will have an effective coordination mechanism which enables BIH to speak with a single voice”, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda said during the meeting.

High Representative Mogherini thanked to Chairman Benavda for his support to efforts to make BIH take the road of prosperity, and stressed that she is happy for the step BIH made today, which will result in faster moving towards the European Union.

Chairman Bevanda and High Representative Mogherini agreed that the process ahead of BH is difficult one and that it is necessary to embrace upon substantial reforms to move BIH closer to the European Union.
