Chairman Bevanda Holds Global COMMIT Campaign

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda signed in Sarajevo a declaration of support to the COMMIT Global Campaign, raised in 2012 the UN Women Organisation, endorsed by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, with an aim at cessing violence against women and girls. 

Following the signature, Chairman Bevanda stated to media that BIH has over the past period invested extreme efforts to combat violence against women and girls, but despite of achieved progress, it is necessary to continue offering support to prevention of violence, through legal and other regulations, and through education in preschool and school systems.
