Chairman Bevanda Receives Ambassador Sorensen in Farewell Visit

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received in a farewell visit head of Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina and EU Special Representative Ambassador Peter Sorensen, with whom he discussed the economic and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the general elections the regional cooperation among the Western Balkan countries following the Berlin Summit. 

Chairman Bevanda thanked to Ambassador Sorensen for developing good relations between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that on the road to the European Union Bosnia and Herzegovina has only two Road Map requirements to meet, which is not negligible output, since all 24 requirements were met in a very short period of time. He expressed his hope that government in BIH will be formed soon and that, subject to election promises, BIH would quickly move forward along the European Integrations path.

Ambassador Sorensen thanked to Chairman Bevanda for cooperation over the past years, saying that it would be good for the state if government would be formed as soon as possible.

They agreed that there Bosnia and Herzegovina still has a lot of work to do and that missed chances need to be caught-up.

Chirman Bevanda wished Ambassador Sorensen successful continuation of his diplomatic carrier.
