Chairman Bevanda talks With British Foreign Minister in London

At the margins of an EBRD Conference in London, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland William Hague, with whom he discussed the obstacles of BIH on its way to the European Union and possibilities for their removal. 

The meeting agreed that the fulfilling of the two remaining commitments from the Road Map would open the door of the European future for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that additional efforts should be made to achieve an agreement to take BIH ahead.

Minister Hague said that the Great Britain is ready to continue extending support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro-Atlantic Integrations process.

They welcomed the event, as today’s Conference is, which encourage to promotion of regional cooperation and bilateral relations of the Western Balkans countries, and concluded that it is necessary for countries of the region to offer support to each other on their way to the full-fledged membership in the European Union.
