Chairman Bevanda Talks with German Bundestag Delegation

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received in Sarajevo today a delegation of the German Bundestag, with which he discussed the current political and economic developments in BIH and South East Europe in the light of approaching accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union. 

During the talks with the Bundestag delegation, led by Deputy Chairman of the Group of Bosnia-Herzegovinian-German friendship Josip Juratović, Chairman Bevnada assessed bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the FR Germany as particularly good and friendly. He expressed his content for good political relations are followed by same good economic cooperation, as Germany is the most important foreign trade partner of our country.

Chairman Bevanda said that the economy and Euro-Atlantic integrations are priority tasks at the Council of Ministers agenda, and that Croatia’s joining the EU may be seen as a great opportunity for development of BIH economy. He pointed that the Council of Ministers has done everything it could to make Bosnia and Herzegovina ready for Croatia’s entry into the EU.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda thanked to the German parliamentarians for the support the FR Germany has extended to date to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its Euro-Atlantic path.
