Chairman Bevanda Talks with Waser and Inzko

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received in an introductory visit newly-appointed first Deputy High Representative and Supervisor for Brčko Tamir Waser, accompanied by High Representative Valentin Inzko. 

High Representative Inzko said that Waser knows very well the situation in BIH and that he is looking forward to having such experienced US diplomat as his first assistant.

Chairman Bevanda welcomed Waser and informed the visitors of the current political developments in BIH. He added that the Council of Ministers of BIH pays special attention to the Brčko District and that a delegation comprised of sector Ministers paid an official visit to the Brčko District on two occasions for a more pro-active solution-finding to current issues. He also informed the visitors of a fact that the Framework Budget Document was adopted and of the on-going procedure for the adoption of next year’s budget, which is expected to be adopted by the end of this year.

The meeting agreed over the necessity to work on overcoming of problems on BIH’s path to the European Union and on the creation of visible progress.
