Chairman Bevanda with British Parliamentarians

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda discussed with a Delegation of the parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, led by Chairwoman if the All-party Parliamentarian Group for BIH in the UK Parliament Karen Lumley. 

Chariman Bevanda thanked for Great Britain’s commitment for the establishment of the rule of law and European standards in BIH. He briefed the visitors of the current political and economic situation in the state, as well as of recent meeting in Brussels devoted to the creation of conditions for the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement to take force.

The British Parliamentarians pledged to assist in efforts taken by Chairman Bevanda and the Council of Ministers on the acceleration of the Euro-Atlantic Integrations, pointing out that there is no other way for BIH but the one leading towards the European Union.

Chairman Bevanda expressed a firm dedication to a goal of as soon as possible accession to the European Union and NATO, and underlined that he expects the disagreements in BIH to become the history, and economy to overwhelm the politics.

The meeting was attended by British Ambassador in BIH Nigel Casey.
