Chairman Bevanda with EU High Representative Mogherini and EC Commissioner Hahn 

Chairman Bevnada informed the meeting on implementation of the recently held elections, and said that discussions are ongoing on forming government in BIH. He expressed his hope that all-level government will be established soon, Chairman Bevanda said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has set its aim and that is the European Union membership. He stressed the importance of effective coordination mechanism, saying that it is one of the issues that need to be solved within the shortest time possible. During the talks, they underlined that there must be evident dedication to the European path on the part of all political stakeholders and civil society, as well, in order to make the EU membership reality.

Representatives of the European Union said that conditions already in place will not be amended and that they expect concrete measures towards their realisation. They said that the aim of today’s visit was dedication to the European Union and progression towards that aim.
