Chairman Bevanda with President of Council of Europe Parliamentarian Assembly

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda met in Sarajevo with President of the Council of Europe Parliamentarian Assembly Anne Brasseur, who is in an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Chairman Bevanda informed President Brsseur of the current political developments in BIH and on the challenges on the way of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU. He said that both the BIH Presidency and Parliament adopted a Joint Declaration on European Commitment and Necessary reforms, and underlines his hopes that the governed will be formed soon in order to enable operative decision-making and in order to move on along the European road.

President of the Council of Europe Parliamentarian Assembly Anne Brasseur is pleased for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s taking over the Presidency of the Council of Europe this May, stressing that the aim of her current visit is to brief BIH political leaders of the obligations in relation to that function.

They agreed that BIH necessitates improvement and that BIH has not time to loose anymore.
