Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo today President of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadić. With whom he discussed possibilities for development of good neighbourly relations between two countries. 

It was assessed that friendly meetings and continued dialogue contribute to overall improvement of bilateral relations, good neighbourly cooperation and initiation of activities for solving outstanding issues between B-H and Republic of Serbia.

Chairman Špirić assessed that the economic cooperation between B-H and Serbia develops in a good direction, but that there is space for its improvement. He stressed a need for establishment of a joint B-H - Serbia economic cooperation committee, whose regular meetings would boost the improvement of overall economic cooperation.

Chairman Špirić expressed an interest on the part of B-H for signing of a Memorandum on Cooperation between B-H and Serbia in the area of the European Integrations, including signing of a bilateral agreement on regional cooperation, in conformity with the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement with the EU.

President Tadić stressed that Serbia wants to develop the closest possible friendly relations with B-H, reiterating that Serbia is a guarantee of the Dayton Peace Accords, Tadić said that all what three peoples and two Entities in B-H agree upon is acceptable for his country.

They also discussed further improvement of cooperation within the regional and international initiatives.
