Chairman of Council of Ministers of B-H Receives First Deputy High Representative

The chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Dr Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo First Deputy High Representative in B-H Roderick Moor. 

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H informed the First Deputy High Rrepresentative of the internal situation in B-H in the light of a need for as soon as possible establishment of government at all levels in B-H following the elections of last October.

They discussed the issue of Budget, and Chairman Špirić informed First Deputy High Representative Moor that the Fiscal Council of B-H failed to reach an agreement on the B-H Fiscal Balance and Policies Global Framework. Since it is quite uncertain when the new government will take office, Chairman Špirić said that this issue will be reopened within the Fiscal Council.

Chairman Špirić reiterated his position that the Global Budget Framework should imply that in accordance with their Constitutional and other legal competences, both State and Entity levels need to share a burden of challenges ahead of B-H. He stressed a need to arrive at a balanced framework, for it is relevant in the view of position of the international financial institutions towards B-H.
