Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Bevnada in Brčko

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda visited the Brčko District of BIH, where he talked with Mayor Anto Domić. 

During their meeting, Chairman Bevanda encouraged his interlocutors to use the chance in the period ahead and apply for funds needed to solve important issues, especially pointing out the inadequate regulation of waste waters, which is the key problem and obstacle to entrepreneurship incentive and an obstacle to furthering economic development and FDI attraction.

Mayor Domić informed Chairman Bevanda of the issues faced by Brčko citizens, and stressed that a support the Council of Ministers of BIH is necessary so as to overcome the current problems. He expressed his satisfaction for, the Brčko District authorities managed,  in the first year of its term without OHR supervision, to form the functional local government as per the population structure.

Chairman Bevnada and Mayor Domić discussed the European path of BIH and implementation of the Road Map goals, up-coming Census of Population, as well as Tuzla-Orašje Motorway, which would bear great importance for Brčko, as for the whole of BIH.

The meeting was attended by Head of Office of Chairman Eugen Šušak, Deputy Mayor Esad Kadrić and Head of Directorate for Finances of the Brčko District Mato Lučić.
