Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Receives Ambassador of Republic of India

The interlocutors concluded that the relations between the two states are indicator of a friendly cooperative relationship.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH assessed that activities of Indian investors in BIH represent a good example of good economic cooperation, expressing his hope that this would attract additional investments from India.
The meeting discussed possibilities of intensification of foreign exchange, and activities aimed at scientific, technical, cultural and sports cooperation of between two countries.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers assessed that opening of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Sarajevo would contribute to development of overall relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and India. He said that Bosnia and Herzegovina highly appreciates assistance India has and continues to extend to Bosnia and Herzegovina in various forms.
Other than bilateral, Chairman Špirić referred to also satisfying cooperation between BIH and India at the international scene, where there exists mutual assistance and support. He especially thanked India for its support to BIH candidacy for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council in 2010/2011.
Chairman Špirić informed the ambassador of the current internal political situation and reform processes in BIH.
