Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Receives Danish Ambassador

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark Karsten Vagn Nilsen, who is non-resident Ambassador seated in Ljubljana. 

The meeting concluded that the bilateral relations are good and friendly, which represents a solid foundation for development of all forms of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Chairman Špirić especially underlined a need for promotion of economic relations between the two countries.

Chairman Špirić indicated at the interest of BIH to conclude agreements aimed at completing legal framework of cooperation between the two countries.

The chairman thanked for overall contribution of Denmark at both bilateral and multilateral level in the reconstruction and development process in BIH. He expressed his regret because of the closing of Danish Embassy offices in Sarajevo, and welcomed a decision of the Danish Government to open a consular office in BIH.

Chairman Špirić informed his interlocutor of the current political situation in BIH.
