Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Receives US Ambassador

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo today Ambassador of the USA in BIH Patrick Moon. 

Both sides expressed their pleasure for an agreement on implementation of election results being finally reached, and expressed their expectation that the process of constituting of a new Council of Ministers will go smoothly.

Chairman Špirić and Ambassador Moon touched upon the issue of the Budget of BIH Institutions, and payment of BIH’s international liabilities.

Špirić said that the problem with foreign debt servicing arose unnecessarily, and that the right question that should be asked is how it happened at all, having in mind the BIH’s credit worthiness, solvency and liquidity, and that relevant legal framework in BIH is constructed as such to guarantee the orderly payment of due liabilities.

The interlocutors exchanged messages of thankfulness for mutual good cooperation over the past period.
