Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Talks with Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro

During the talks they expressed their satisfaction with particularly good cooperation and stressed that BIH and Montenegro share their priorities, which are the European integrations and regional cooperation.
Chairman Bevanda informed Deputy Prime Minister Lukšić of the current political-economic situation in BIH and said that the macroeconomic policies run by the Council of Ministers brought about a fiscal stability and slight economic recovery of BIH.
He emphasised the importance of signing of an Agreement on Border between BIH and Montenegro, saying that a Proposal Agreement of State Committees for Border will be considered at one of following sessions of the Council of Ministers.
He also underlined the significance of regional connectedness, pointing that the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative represents a project which opens the door for a joint development in all segments, this including a long-term political stability of the region.
Lukšić said that for the future period it is necessary to use possibilities for joint development and support economic, touristic and economic growth.
The meeting agreed that investments to the real sector are extremely important for they contribute to economic growth and job creation.
