Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH Talks with Head of Turkish Diplomacy

Chairman Zvizdić informed Minister Cavusoglu on current political developments and informed him of priorities of the Council of Ministers of BIH, stressing that these include the European integrations, economic development and rule of law. He said that a positive period of time is ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in view of preparations underway for the Staibilisation and Accession Agreement implementation. He notes his appreciation for a continuous support which the Republic of Turkey extends to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of its integrations to the European Union and NATO.
Minister Cavusoglu congratulated to Chairman Zvizdić and all members of the Council of Ministers for their appointment, wishing them a lot of success in their work. He expressed regret and sorrow for an attack against a police station in Zvornik, and offered his condolences. He underlined that Turkey strongly supports the European way of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that it will continue to support BIH in the process of integrations to NATO. Emphasising the importance of soon taking over of the Presidency of the Council of Europe, he announced his arrival at the ceremony in Brussels.
Chairman Zvizdić stressed that the economic development of BIH is a zero priority and that the up-coming activities will be committed to that segment, adding that BIH will soon get its national economic reforms programme. He pointed at advantages as concerns investments in the sectors of energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, education and food industry. He said that for the purpose of an increase of number of Turkish tourists, it would be justifiable to introduce a direct airline Sarajevo - Ankara.
The meeting was attended by Cihad Erinay, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BIH.
