Chairman of Council of Ministers of BIH talks with Prime Minister of Ukraine

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr. Nikola Špirić talked in Belgrade today with Prime Minister of Ukraine Mikola Azarov, at the margins of the Summit of the Central European Initiative. 

The interlocutors assessed the political relations between two countries as good and without outstanding issues, but still with a significant space for their improvement, both bilaterally and regionally, as well as multilaterally.

Chairman Špirić underlined a special interest for the intensification of economic cooperation, which currently stands at a low level. In that regard, he pointed at a need for activation of the Joint Committee for Economic Issues, He also, proposed holding of BIH-Ukraine business forums between.

In regard to that, the interlocutors agreed on the importance of advancing the contractual regulation of bilateral relations.

Chairman Špirić and Prime Minister Azarov exchanged their views on the internal policy and priorities of BIH and Ukraine.

Chairman Špirič informed Prime Minister Azarov on the current internal situation and reform processes in BIH.

Prime Minister Azarov invited Chairman Špirić to visit Ukraine.
