Chairman of Council of Ministers Receives Chief of IMF Mission

Chairman of the Council of Minsters Dr. Nikola Špirić received today in Sarajevo head of Mission of the IMF Kostas Hristou, with whom he talked on the economic and fiscal situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as possible repercussions of the global economic crisis to BIH. 

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers said that due to anticipated effects of the global economic crisis, it is necessary to assume a more conservative approach to the Budget planning. . He informed the Head of IMF Mission on efforts taken within the Fiscal Council to reach an agreement on the Fiscal Balance and Policy Global Framework in BIH for 2012-2014, as a basis for adoption of general Budget.

Chairman Špirić announced that the fiscal Council will hold a session again on November 22, and expressed his hope that the views will be approximated until that time so that the Global Framework might be greed.
